Joi just blogged on some Japanese flash synchs of the Romanian group O-Zone's song "Dragostea Din Tei". The original music video is here and here is one example of a flash synch and here is another. If that isn't enough for you, another guy made a hilarious lip synch + flash synch video. Another great example of cultural ping pong. It also reminds me of the flash synchs of Satouizumi. Gotta love net culture.

Dragostea Din Tei is not popular in Indonesia. But then one of my colleague found the song in the internet by accident. Now the song is spinning around in everyone's head in this room!!!

A friend told me that it was a hit in Holland last Summer, but I think it's going to boom in my country pretty soon. Last weekend we went clubbing and found out this sing remixed for the first time :)
